If the viscosity is too high, the internal friction resistance of the system will increase, the pressure loss will increase, the oil temperature will rise too fast, and the operation will be delayed; The viscosity is too low, the volumetric efficiency of the pump is low, the lubrication performance is poor, and the movement friction resistance between parts is increased. The viscosity of hydraulic oil varies with the working temperature, so special attention should be paid to the selection of hydraulic oil for low temperature.

When lubricating oil, gearbox, transfer case, drive axle, winch mechanism and slewing mechanism are operating at low temperature, gear oil with high viscosity index, low freezing point and good lubricity shall be selected as the lubricating oil of hydraulic elevator, otherwise, the transmission efficiency will be significantly reduced, the wear of transmission parts will increase, the operation of gearbox and transfer case will be heavy, and shifting will be difficult.
